Bruce Davis was a Manson family member convicted in the murders of musician Gary Hinman and former stuntman Donald "Shorty" Shea.
Charles Manson was the mastermind of the Zodiac crime spree and that it was carried out by some members of the Manson Family to promote his "Helter Skelter" or revolution.It has been suggested that Davis worked as part of a team of two or more manson family members.
Bruce Davis, along with Charles Manson, Tex Watson, and Steve Grogan, participated in the murder of Spahn's Ranch hand Donald "Shorty" Shea. Davis went into hiding after being exposed in the murder of Gary Hinman. Manson's ordered Davis to surrender himself to authorities on December 2, 1970. Davis was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life in prison.
Davis was ruled out as a Zodiac suspect by the FBI.
