Halloween Card Symbol - Ref: Robert Graysmith & David Kahn

For those who may question whether Graysmith was on the right track with regard to at least one of Zodiac's Cryptography reference sources and inspirations...

I just picked up from my local library, my reservation of David Kahn's, The Codebreakers: The Story of Secret Writing. New York : Macmillan, 1967. No sooner did I have the hefty tome in my hands than I went straight to the index for "Runes."

I was directed to two pages including an entire illustration of the Swedish Rok stone. From Graysmith's lead, and with Kahn's book less than 20 seconds in my hands, take a look at what I saw for myself:

Now, do these look familiar?

Can there be any doubt about Zodiac's origin of his heretofore "mystery" symbol? Note the very angle at which the top runes of the Rok stone are fused. As I progress through my reading of "The Codebreakers," I may request of Chris Yarbrough, a Blog of my own on his ZodiacKillerTRUTH site in order to discuss my further analyses and findings.
