Moving On!
I'm making this post here, instead of on the blog, because I do not want to dedicate any more of the main site to Dennis Kaufman. Still, I have something left to say:
I think it's time to move on. The attacks from Kaufman and his crew have done all the damage I'm going to allow. For Dennis, any publicity is good publicity. I'm not going to give him the attention he so obviously craves. This site isn't about Dennis. It isn't about me. It's about the Zodiac.
Dennis and his friends don't like what I have to say, so they make up lies. It was alleged that I make money from my websites -that I profit from the misfortunes of others. That was deeply insulting to me. I did what I could to defend myself from such a vicious accusation. But, in doing so, I only gave more attention to Dennis -which he seems to perversely enjoy. (He even wanted to put my counter-posts on the main page of his website!) You won't see the posts here anymore. I have posted nothing but the truth. Dennis informed me that he has copies of my counter-posts, so it can't be said that I've withdrawn them because they weren't true. I stand behind every word.
I have the financial documents that prove I have never received one single donation. If anyone has ever sent a donation to me, please, send your proof to Dennis. An issue was made because I had a PayPal donation button on my site. I took it down to avoid any confusion. It has made no difference whatsoever in my income. The button was there because hosting these sites really does COST money. Many websites have them for the same reason. But, NOT ONE penny came through that button -ever! Like I said, I have obtained the documentation from PayPal to prove it. On the other hand, see who really has tried to make money from the Zodiac case. And he continues to do so.
Let the haters hate. They will hate even more now that no more attention is being paid to them. Dennis will continue to say things about me that aren't true. Now that I'm no longer going to write about him -he will try his best to provoke me. The truth is, he really loves the attention. He will continue to lash out at me, as he has to anyone else who has spoken up and pointed out the truth. He will continue to slander my name. His friends will continue to mimic and praise him. That's what he's counting on. But, they're just narcissistic feed -and Dennis is hungry. When they're not teamed up in their hatred of me, they'll turn on each other. It's happened before, and it will happen again. You can bet it on it.
Those that are rooting for Dennis now, will be thrown aside once he has drained them of all their use. When that happens, the door is open here. You won't be booted for disagreeing with me or for asking tough questions. I run an open forum. I try to be as fair as possible.
All that needs to be said about Jack Tarrance not being the Zodiac has been said. That is old ground. I'm not going to be covering it anymore. We're moving on to bigger and better things.
I'm always looking for new ideas. Contributors welcome, as always. Let me know if you want to blog -I'll set it up. Present your ideas and opinions on the message board. If you're a code solver, show us your solutions. If you have an analysis of the Zodiac case, or can expound on one of the suspects, that is what this site is for.
Nanette Barto Does the Twist
I have to address a few things. I try. I really do. I try to stay off of this negative stuff. But, I'm only human. When lies are being told, I have to defend myself by pointing out the truth. I just won't be doing that sort of thing on the front page of my blog, anymore -at least when it comes to me personally. But, as most of you know by now, it's just too hard for me to shut the hell up.

Barto communicates a lot differently in emails than she does on the message board. She can be quite duplicitous. I think a lot of the hostility she displays toward me is merely for Dennis's benefit. That being said, she did become quite angry with me when I told her I didn't care to hear anymore about the Tarrance/Zodiac thing. She had begged me to call her on the phone to talk about Jack Tarrance. I refused. She had begged me to give her three hours of my time. She said that Chris Hopkins did. I refused. Chris Hopkins gets paid to listen to Barto. I don't.
The "threats" Barto keeps alluding to were not threats at all. I simply tried to get her to think about the courtesy I had shown her in the past regarding private emails, now that she was discussing publicly whether she could use mine to prove libel. She told me she had nothing to worry about in that regard; she forwards all her emails to Dennis. I tried to get her to realize that she could do her job without wallowing in the same muck as Dennis. But, she really needs the attention.
I wonder what Dennis thought about the email she accidentally sent to me -the one that contained conversations with someone from another message board. The one where Dennis was the topic. I wonder what Tamoose and jon55 would think about it. Would they still carry such a torch for Nanette? But, I told her I wouldn't show it to anyone --and I won't. Besides, according to Barto, Dennis already got the bcc.
Barto also makes an issue of my saying that the press had debunked Dennis. I really don't know what she keeps on about. I corrected the line. She was absolutely right. It was incorrect. The press hadn't debunked Dennis. My memory had played a small trick on me. It was Nanette Barto and her handwriting examination skills that were debunked. The LA Times had a great piece on their blog that showed just how ridiculous the Black Dahlia matches to Jack Tarrance were. So, thanks for pointing out my mistake, Nanette. I hope it has been corrected to your satisfaction. Yes, I make mistakes. But, when they are pointed out to me, I correct them. The same can't be said for the "other team."
I have never taken any donations, Nanette. I have never claimed to be solving crimes -that's your claim (and it's ludicrous.) But, I will keep keeping on.
