Robert Peter Ackerman Plaintext Solution

I recently received an email from Mr. Ackerman, pointing to the following link at the British site for the 2007 Zodiac film.

http://zodiacevidence.co.uk/default.aspx?g=posts&t=29&find=unread

He claims: "All of these puzzle pieces integrate, and when considered in toto, prove beyond a doubt that the Robert P. Ackerman Plaintext Solution is the only solution and constitutes a signed confession from Zodiac Serial Killer: Arthur “Leigh” Allen."

Your thoughts?

Open Forum?

Mr. Yarbrough, you don't seem so open when it comes to postings for your "Open" forum.

Evidently, Zodiac lackeys who make references to empty whiskey crates have free reign.

Hmmm... How does he or she come by those empty whiskey containers?

That poster would be well advised to follow the apt Conan Doyle quote you selected atop your homepage:

I never guess. It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

Farmerian Solutions!

Chris, every time that I see someone come online with a string of convoluted explanations to back up an alleged final solution for a Zodiac code, I just cringe and ask myself, "When is it going to stop?"

I had said this before and I am going to say it again, would anyone buy such outrageous claims from Hardens had they come up with anything but their simple solution for the Zodiac's 408-symbol code? Of course not. So why should anyone expect anything less as a solution for the Zodiac's 340-symbol code?

340 Zodiac symbols for 340 English letters and arabic numerals ( http://zodiacnetwork.multiply.com/photos/album/26/H-Bomb_Code#2 ).

The first time I was banned from Tom Void's mb was around 2005 when I refused to publish a crack sheet for the Zodiac's 340-symbol code after I posted my final solution for this code in his so-called hacked mb. But what he did not know was that when I originally published my solution back in late October 1990, I provided my single crack sheet to those who received my solution. I had decided not to release any crack sheet to the public because I did not want the info to be abused.

In my opinion, all these Farmerian solutions for the Zodiac codes belong to a rubbish bin made out of an old whisky oak barrel because it is devoid of a main ingredient, which is: "common sense!"

The RPA Zodiac Ciphers Solution

With all due respect,

My solution is certainly not "convoluted" -- it involves the use of a single homophonic Key. "Homophonic" (multi-substitution of plaintext for each symbol) should not be surprising at all. Zodiac was already utilizing this style of encryption with four of his symbols in the original three-part "408" cipher. Furthermore, experts in cryptanalysis have been stating for years that this technique would be evident in the "340" cipher solution.

"Farmerian" ? -- I neither know Mr. Farmer nor am I an expert on his work, but I do not believe that the line: "LEEISLEIGHIHIHNTT" came up anywhere in his solution. In fact, from his Web pages that I explored [well after I had sent my own solution to the FBI and other authorities], I did not witness any revelation of a killer's name, let alone a lead suspect.

So you must be suggesting that I forced my logically uncovered solution key to spell out Arthur "Leigh" Allen's name twice (including the common alternate spelling that he preferred)? And that--miraculously--I am so skillfull in my deceit as to have this very same SINGLE Solution Key then spell out "TWELVE VICTEMS" [sic] in the 13-symbol cipher with exactly the style of misspelling characteristic of the Zodiac Killer?

HERE'S MY PROMISE TO READERS: Have the authorities (preferably the FBI) contact me [they have had over a year now]--they can even save time by sending me a form letter with official seal and signature if they wish. [They certainly have all my contact info]. Have them state that my solution is not a solution as far as they are concerned.

I WILL THEN GLADLY PRINT MY SOLUTION ON THIS BOARD.

This is my promise to you.
