According to the Fresno Bee, a man calling himself Zodiac may have tried to kill a teacher with arsenic, police said Saturday. In 1969, Daniel Williams, a 24 year-old teacher from Richmond, CA, said he received calls over a 10-day period from a man who complained of headaches and said he was the Zodiac. In a muffled voice, the man said: "You're the dead duck." During the time period of the calls, someone broke into Williams home. Nothing was discovered missing and investigating officers left William's home. Williams took a drink from a soft drink bottle which had been opened, but spit the liquid out before swallowing -- the soda had "a metallic, taste." Lab tests police determined that the bottle contained more than enough arsenic to have proven fatal for whoever drank it. Police did not have enough evidence to determine if the culprit was the Zodiac
